On the eve of New Year – 2021, Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal insisted on the need of a new social contract through a consensus-based grand national dialogue to resolve chronic issues faced by country. Pakistan can no longer work under this current system, style of government, politics and partisan attitudes. Also the state will suffer irreparable loss if the rulers are continue to hell bent upon pushing the existing system. The government is not providing any welfare to the people while the opposition has no formula for solving the problems of the people. For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the people are getting disappointed and loosing faith not only on government and the opposition but also state institutions. The only way out of the quagmire is to start the new year in Pakistan with a new social agreement through the Grand National Dialogue. In which the government, the opposition, all political parties, the judiciary, the media, the army and the intelligence agencies come together and chalk out 10, 20 and 50 year milestones by adopting a reconciliation policy while the political parties in light of these national targets should evolve their election manifestos and strategies, then seek mandate from the people by presenting the same. The current system has completely failed to solve even the basic public problems. He expressed these views while talking to hundreds of youth of Pashtun community from Sohrab Goth who joined PSP. He added that it would be better to reboot the entire system in order to avoid dreaded boot .
