PSO marks plant for Pakistan day

Pakistan State Oil, the nation’s largest oil marketing company actively participated in the ‘Plant for Pakistan Day” campaign that is in line with Prime Minister’s Green & Clean Pakistan mission.
Tree plantation events were held at different locations of the company across the country. MD & CEO, PSO, Jehangir Ali Shah inaugurated the tree plantation drive by planting tree at Company’s headquarter, PSO House and retail outlet in Karachi. Senior management of the company including DMD-Finance &CFO, Yacoob Suttar, Senior General Manager Marketing, Shehryar Omar and General Managers Retail, Operations, Administration & SS, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Expressing his views on the occasion, Jehangir Ali Shah, MD&CEO, said: “This initiative shall be followed by more tree plantation drives across our operational areas throughout Pakistan. Planting trees is by far the biggest and cheapest way to tackle the climate change and Pakistan State Oil is committed to the cause of a Greener Pakistan”
“PSO being a responsible organization; believes in Eco-friendly sustainability. With this vision; the company has started a plantation drive at company’s facilities throughout the country where almost 5,000 trees have been planted during past 60 days, and the drive is continuing”.
