Protests held against inflated power bills

Peoples of Abbottabad came out on streets to record their protests against the increase of electricity bills and day was passed with corner meetings at different parts of the city including at Lambi Dheri, Supply, Malik Pura, Nawansher, Kunj, Kehal and other areas where in large number of mosques, announcements were made for not to deposit electricity bills and it was also decided in some areas to hold protest rallies and meetings in front of WAPDA offices while in number of the areas, peoples also burnt into ashes the bills the most prominent among protestors was Sheri Ittehad Abbottabad where meeting was held under their president Kamran Ahmed Advocate which was also addressed by Dr. Salah ud din, Moeen-ud-din Advocate and others who out rightly rejected the increase in power bills and including of some unjustified taxes and charges the bills and demanded immediate withdrawal of the unjustified charges.

It was also decided to launch a forceful movement with the consultation of general public and others Syed Mehrabn Shah vice president of PPP Abbottabad also addressed a protest meeting of workers who all showed deep concern on the increase of electrify bills, Amir Shezad Jadoon, senior journalist also led a protest rally.
