Protest held against lockdown in IOK

The different segments of the civil society including traders, students of schools, colleges and universities and people belonging to all walks of life took out a protest rally here on Wednesday to condemn the Indian lock-down of the Occupied Valley, imposition of curfew, curbs on media and other communication means. Holding banners and placards in their hands inscribed with pro-freedom and anti India slogans, protesters marched from Upper Chella Bandi to University campus where rally turned into a big public gathering.
They raised vociferous slogans against Indian atrocities in the valley and strongly condemned India for continue to impose strict curfew and other restrictions across the Kashmir valley on the 17th consecutive day. Addressing the participants, speakers including Sardar Mazhar Awan, Zulifqar Butt, Kaleem Awan, Jawad Mughal others strongly condemned deteriorating human rights situation in the occupied Valley.
The protesters adopted number of resolutions urging UN, OIC, global human rights bodies and international community to take serious notice of the worst state terrorism by Indian authorities and helped Kashmiris by exerting pressure on India.
Meanwhile All Pakistan Clerks Association (APCA),Larkana district on Wednesday staged a rally to protest against Indian forces’ brutalities on the people of occupied Kashmir, and expressed solidarity with the Pakistan Army.
