A meeting of Vice Chancellors of Public Sector Universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was held here the other day Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Hussain, Vice Chancellor UET Peshawar chaired the meeting while Prof. Dr. Nasir Jamal Khattak, Vice Chancel-lor University of Swabi and Prof. Dr. Gul Majid Khan, Vice Chancellor Islamia College University, Peshawar were also present.
The meeting was aimed to look into the possibilities for strengthening and promoting sports and co- cur-ricular activities in public sector universities. The meeting discussed both short and long termplans in light of existing facilities. The Vice Chancellors vowed to provide high-standard sportsfacilities in all KP.
