The cryptocurrency market came down on Monday amid profit-taking activity, with the market cap decreasing 2.9 percent to $1.66 trillion from $1.7 trillion as of 1155 hours GMT.
The price of Bitcoin (BTC), the largest cryptocur-rency, decreased to $39,449 after shedding 4.90 percent amid profit-taking activity. With this de-crease in price, the market capitalisation of the BTC has reached $740.6 billion.
However, ethereum (ETH) price jumped 0.63 per-cent to reach $2,599. With this increase in price, the market capitalisation of ETH has reached $303.9 billion. On the other hand, XRP shed 1.23 percent to reach $0.747.
The market capitalisation of XRP stands at $74.7 billion after this decrease. Cardano (ADA) price reached $1.32 with a 2.58 percent decrease in its price. Its market capitalisa-tion has reached $42.5 billion after this decrease. — TLTP
