At last good news for the people worried due to inflated electricity bills as the prices of solar panels have come down by 60 per cent, on Tuesday.

A panel of 545 watts, which earlier cost Rs70,000, is now available in the market for Rs27,000 only. Similarly, a panel of 450 watts now costs Rs24, 000, and that of 330 watts Rs20,000.

Traders, on the other hand, have attributed drop in prices to the relief offered by the government in taxes.
They have said that the resumption of imports has also led to the development.

Ordinary citizens who too are happy to hear the news have demanded more relief from the government in taxes.
