QUETTA – At least 12 people, including a cop, were injured after a police van was targeted in a blast near Eastern Bypass in Quetta on Wednesday.
Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind told media that the police vehicle was targeted in the attack, adding that the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
He confirmed that one policeman was injured in the incident.
The Balochistan Health Department has also released a list of 12 individuals who were injured in the blast.
Security forces have cordoned off the area while an investigation has also been launched into the incident.
