Police nabs 34 POs, recovers NCP goods

District Police conducted 40 Search and Strike operations and arrested 34 proclaimed offenders besides seizing huge quantities of drugs, arms and ammunition during the running month of February, District Police Officer (DPO) Sajjad Ahmad Sahibzada said Wednesday.

Addressing a media briefing at his office, the DPO informed that concrete steps were also being taken to curb the curse of drug peddling in the district as police registered 45 cases of drug peddling and recovered 22 KG of Hashish, 576 gram heroin, and 707 gram opium during the current month.
