The Narcotics Eradication Team (NET) and District Police under the supervision of District Police Officer Abbottabad Sajjad Khan continued to crack down on drug dealers during the last month. 84 drug dealers were arrested from whose possession 119 K.G of hashish, 18 KG of heroin, 07 and a half KG of Ice and 1380 bottles of liquor were recovered.
Abbottabad Police has also launched public awareness campaign targeting the students and in different orientation session held at different educational institutions in the last month remain very successful as beside the police officials, different resource persons belongs to health sector in their lectures has informed the students about the dangers of drugs.
