Police directed to accelerate crackdown against accused in Sialkot incident

On the instruction of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, a crackdown against accused involved in the brutal murder of Lankan citizen is being carried out. Punjab police have arrested six more main accused by conducting raids.

The Chief Minister directed to further accelerate the legal proceedings against the accused and said that the investigation should be taken forward in a scientific manner.

According to the Punjab Police spokesman, during the last 12 hours, police have identified six main characters and arrested them with the help of CCTC footage and mobile calls data. The suspects can be seen torturing the deceased manager in the video.

The footage also revealed that some of the accused had sticks in their hands and some were torturing the victim.

Police have nabbed these accused from the houses of their friends and relatives. The spokesman further disclosed that police have detained 124 people out of whom 19 accused have a major role in this brutal murder.

Among the arrested accused, the process of identifying those who provoked violence and involved in torture is also being carried out.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and IG Punjab are personally monitoring the entire investigation process. Usman Buzdar has given the task to the Secretary Prosecution to pursue the case.

Meanwhile, On the special instruction of the Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, Café Kushhal for differently able people has been established in Deputy Commissioner Complex Mianwali.

The Chief Minister said that the Café will be run by special people and the earnings from the cafe will be spent on the welfare of such people.

Usman Buzdar said that in abilities special people are not less than normal human beings as special people also have special abilities.

This Café will not only provide job opportunities to the special people but will also prove to be helpful in their welfare. He said that the scope of such Cafés will be extended to other districts as well.

Elected representatives Abdul Rehman Khan, Amin Khan, office bearer of PTI, Deputy Commissioner Mianwali Khurram Shehzad and DPO Mianwali inaugurated the Café Khushhal – Deputy Commissioner Mianwali said that for the first time Special people will run the cafe themselves where they will be paid.

Furthermore, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the murder of Assistant Commissioner Jhang Imran Jaffer in a firing incident in the precinct of Langrana police station.

The Chief Minister extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences with the bereaved family of late Assistant Commissioner Imran Jaffer.

While taking notice of the firing incident, Usman Buzdar has sought a report from IG Police and has directed the immediate arrest of the accused and an investigation report of this tragic incident should be submitted to the CM office.
