PML-Q to contest LB polls in a vigorous manner: Elahi

Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that PML-Q will take full part in the local body elections.
Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi was talking to President Sialkot Chamber of Commerce Qaiser Baryar and Senior Vice President Pakistan Muslim League Chaudhry Saleem Baryar.
The current political situation and issues facing traders were discussed during the meeting. The PA speaker said that due to Corona the country’s economy is in bad shape and the business community is playing an important role in this difficult time. Ch Pervaiz Elahi also expressed sorrow over the death of Hazara miners in Machh.
On the occasion, he tasked senior vice president Chaudhry Saleem Baryar with important responsibilities regarding organization in Sialkot and an action plan was formulated to mobilize the Muslim League workers. He said that PML-Q will take full part in the local body elections, so the workers with the spirit of public service should be prepared for the local body elections. On the occasion, Qaiser Baryar thanked Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and said that he was apprised of the problems of the Chamber on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s visit to Sialkot. The Prime Minister was informed that Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as the Chief Minister of Punjab had purchased 600 acres of land in Sialkot for the establishment of a university, on which a university should be set up.
