While responding to the statements of PML-N leader Azma Bukhari, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Hasaan Khawar on Friday said that during the past three years, the understanding of PML-N’s spokespersons could not go beyond memorized sentences.
The SACM regretted: “The PML-N needs answers of its own choice, including court decisions and election results.”
“They ask questions, we answer, they repeat the same questions, we show them the mirror,” he declared and added that the PML-N leaders, however, observe silence whenever they are asked questions about Rs25 billion TTs and five camp offices of their CM in Punjab.
He asked the PML-N leadership who employed personal employees in the CM’s Office as directors.
“Who will answer the audit paras valuing Rs17,500 billion between 2008 and 2018? All these audit reports have been prepared by the government departments during past tenures whereas the discretionary funds of the Chief Minister have been utilized 76 percent more than today. The SACM said that the N-League leadership is silent on this too.
Hasaan Khawar said the non-salary expenses of the CM’s Office have been reduced by 40% in PTI’s tenure as compared to the previous period.
The nation is looking toward PML-N for answers to all these questions, he pointed out and said that they are ready to answer their questions but they do not dare listening to the truth.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab on Information and Spokesperson Government to the Punjab Hasaan Khawar said that, on special instructions from Sardar Usman Buzdar, all resources are being utilized to eradicate the calamity of smog.
In this regard, emergency and long-term measures are being devised, while special instructions have also been issued to the concerned departments.
These views were expressed by SACM Punjab and Spokesperson Government of the Punjab Hasaan Khawar while talking to media on the occasion of Data Darbar visit.
He said that Usman Bazdar is vigilantly monitoring the progress on anti-smog drive by a fortnightly inter-departmental review meeting.
Anti-smog squad has also been mobilized for inspection of industries while the Chief Minister has also directed the transport sector to formulate a comprehensive strategy to deal with traffic problems, he added.
Provision of Euro5 fuel is being ensured to mitigate smog. On the occasion, he also congratulated the Sikh community on the 552nd birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak and termed the reopening of Kartarpur Corridor after Karuna as double happiness.
He stated that district administrations of Gujranwala, Narowal, Sialkot, Attock and Nankana have been directed to provide best facilities and security to the Sikh Yatris.
Hasaan Khawar further said that Imran Khan is the pioneer of interfaith harmony. Punjab government would continue to play its role in providing all possible facilities to all minorities including Sikh community, he said.
