Prime Minister Imran Khan is likely to come to Lahore on a day-long visit on Friday (tomorrow). During the visit to the City, the prime minister will chair important meetings.

According to sources, the Prime Minister will hold separate meetings with Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will brief the Prime Minister on the administrative affairs of the province. On the other hand, the Punjab governor will submit a report to the Prime Minister on his recent visit to Europe and issue of GSP Plus status.

Sources further informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan will also preside over a meeting on the new local government system during his visit to the provincial capital.

Meanwhile, in connection with the starting of the winter season from next month, the working hours of the lower courts (civil and session courts) have been changed.

According to a private TV channel, the Chief Justice (CJ) of Lahore High Court (LHC) Wednesday issued a notification in this regard.

The notification regarding the new working hours of the lower courts would be applicable from November 1 to March 31, 2022.

According to the notification, from November 1, the civil and session courts would be open from 9 am to 4 pm on Mondays and Saturdays.

Judicial working hours in the lower courts would be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday. Lunch and prayers break would be from 1 pm to 1:30 pm.

Copies of the notification regarding the change of courts’ working hours were sent to all the concerned institutes and authorities.
