KARACHI – A private airlines’ plane, en route from Karachi to Islamabad – developed technical fault mid-air on Monday.
According to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) sources, Serene Airline’s flight 502 with 120 passengers including Federal Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar reported the glitch around 40 minutes after it took off.
Pilot of Airbus 330 made the emergency call requesting permission for an emergency landing when the plane developed the fault.
The pilot landed it safely in Karachi, averting a major mishap.
