Omer Aftab, CEO Pink Ribbon, has awarded the 1st “Lux Hum Women Leadership Award” for his contributions toward social reforms and women empowerment. He was the only male champion of change amongst 11 distinguished women. The award ceremony took place at Sindh Governor House where President of Islamic Republic Pakistan MR. Arif Alvi and first lady Mrs. Samina Alvi was present to grace the occasion. Hum Network Limited recognised and honoured the women who have contributed and achieved something incredible in different fields. Hum awarded the 11 women 9 from Pakistan and 2 from Iran and Ireland, who worked and brought change for women and became a source of courage, hope and inspiration for them. In this “Women Leadership Award,” there was an exception that a man, Omer Aftab.
