The Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE), in partnership with the Research for Social Transformation & Advancement (RASTA) program and the Pakistan Society of Development Economists (PSDE), has announced the second Economy Festival – EconFest, scheduled to take place tomorrow on October 28th and 29th, 2023 at the Pak – China Friendship Centre in Islamabad.
Following the tremendous success of the inaugural event, held in Lahore this past March, PIDE is once again set to bring together leading economists, public policy experts, practitioners, professionals, academicians, and influential figures from various fields to address Pakistan’s pressing economic challenges. The inaugural EconFest in Lahore was celebrated as a resounding success, and tomorrow’s event in Islamabad promises to build on this achievement. According to the Press Release issued from the PIDE office EconFest will have no registration fee, and there is no requirement for registration; it is open to all. The Institute, with its rich tradition of convening experts to tackle the intricate challenges faced by our nation, offers a unique opportunity for the broader public to engage directly with the genuine issues impacting our country.
