PIAF to join protests if increase in power tariff not withdrawn

Chairman Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF) FahimurRahmanSaigol has said that the association will carry on its commitment of raising the voice of the business community. While addressing the reception organized by the representatives of Disposable Packaging Association on Tuesday, he said that traders are the backbone of the economy and the caretaker government should take immediate steps to reduce electricity rates otherwise the Piaf will also join the protest movement. He said the government should reframe the policies in consultation with the relevant stakeholders and the issues of the business community should be resolved immediately. Fahimur Rahman Sehgal said that the business community along with PIAF is strengthened by joining various business organizations in PIAF. On this occasion, along with Disposable Packaging Association, trade organizations of Science Market, Abakari Road and Anarkali Market along with their officials along with hundreds of members announced their affiliation with PIAF in the presence of the media.
