TORONTO – An air hostess of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was fined for flying to Canada without her passport.
Reports said the air hostess forgot to carry her passport on Islamabad-Toronto flight PK-781 on March 15 and shed had to board the plane on the general declaration documents on her return.
The Canadian authorities imposed a fine of $200 on the female steward for negligence and reaching Toronto without the passport.
PIA spokesperson confirmed the development but she rejected the reports that the air hostess want to get asylum in Canada.
