PESHAWAR – Rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday night, Wednesday and Thursday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a westerly wave prevails over Pakistan’s upper and central parts.
Under these weather conditions, rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Mansehra, Haripur, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Malakand, Kohat, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Peshawar, Mardan and Kurram on Tuesday night and the following two days.
Peshawar’s maximum temperatures will likely stay between 38-40°C on Wednesday and 36-38°C on Thursday.
Meanwhile, hot and dry prevailed in most parts of the province during the last 24 hours. However, Kalam received 01 mm of rain.
Dera Ismail Khan remained the hottest place in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 45°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 18 per cent.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 17 per cent.
