Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa weather update; isolated rains predicted in upper parts

PESHAWAR – Rains and gusty winds are predicted at isolated places in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday and Tuesday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A low-pressure area lies over the Southeast Arabian Sea.

Under these weather conditions, dry weather is predicted in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday and Tuesday. Cold weather is expected in hilly areas during the night/morning. However, rains may occur in Chitral, Dir and surroundings.

Peshawar’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 31-33°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last 24 hours. Cold weather prevailed in hilly areas.

Dera Ismail Khan remained the hottest place in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where the maximum temperature was recorded at 37°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 41 per cent.

In Peshawar, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 59 per cent.
