The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar has decided to give students two chances to improve their marks at the matriculation and intermediate levels, which is good news for students.
The Peshawar board’s deputy controller told Geo News that pupils would be permitted to take the special exam twice in order to improve their division or marks.
He added that the decision was made at the students’ request and that previously, the students had only been given one opportunity to raise their scores.
The official provided more information, stating that matriculation and intermediate students can submit applications for taking the special examination until March 24 and April 1, respectively, in order to enhance their grades.
The deputy controller stated that if a candidate succeeds in improving marks, a result card showing the improved marks will be issued to the student. However, if a candidate fails to obtain better marks in the special exam, the candidate shall be eligible to retain the previous marks, the deputy controller added.
