LAHORE – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo and former three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that a person who feared failure in his life could not succeed.
Nawaz Sharif, who is the Chairman of Sharif Medical Trust, addressed the convention of Sharif Medical City, saying that he saluted Shahbaz Sharif, Governor Punjab, professors, and doctors for their efforts.
“I’m delighted to participate in this prestigious ceremony today. I also want to congratulate the esteemed professors; their hard work has brought all students to this position,”.
The PML-N supremo said that the parents of the students are equal partners in their success.
Sharif Medical College, which was established many years ago, now emerged as a main institution.
“100% merit is required for admission to Sharif Medical College. The merit culture has been promoted, not a recommendation, in Sharif Medical College,” said Nawaz Sharif.
He said that the students are the future of the country and the nation’s capital; the students have to serve Pakistan.
“You have never been discouraged by the difficulties; stars shine brighter in the dark. Treat patients with compassion while treating them; take the youth of the country forward,” he addressed the students.
The former PM said that the successful students were serving Pakistan in practical life as they have to work hard for reform and improvement in society. He asked the students that they have to keep themselves away from despair, abuse, and rudeness.
PML-N President and former Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also addressed the students. He said that he saluted Chairman Sharif Medical Trust Nawaz Sharif and nominated Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and especially saluted to their father Mian Muhammad Sharif who established this institution.
“The students who have received the medals and certificates today,” said Shehbaz Sharif.
He said that it is the result of their daily hard work.
He expressed gratitude for the teachers, parents and the students, and said that the this profession is about curing and caring others. He urged the students to serve the humanity.
