Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Tuesday said that people are fed up with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s same old stories.
The SACM took to Twitter on Tuesday and said Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) staged a political circus outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) after flopped shows across the country.
Firdous Ashiq said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) President Fazlur Rehman once again remained deprived of power despite using students of religious seminaries as political fuel. The PTI leader further added that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari enjoyed the drama based on hollow claims sitting in front of his television screen.
Meanwhile, the SACM said that the political antics of the PDM leadership are a slap on their faces as the opposition has no other issue to play with. Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, while criticising the ludicrous political approach of the opposition towards national politics, maintained the opposition parties’ hocus-pocus has resulted in their loss of face. They will not get anything except humiliation, she repeated. Meanwhile, PDM is also facing internal chaos as the crown prince has parted ways and the princess will soon leave Maulana in the lurch. Those who had threatened to tender resignations and holding of the long march are, even, more cowardly than the proverbial jackals, concluded the SACM.
SACM Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is making hue and cry not for the public relief but to get personal benefits and for lust of power. The national institutions are the strength of Pakistan and the Calibri Queen’s wish to make them controversial by her nefarious statements will never be fulfilled.
Addressing a press conference flanked by Punjab Minister for School Education Dr Murad Raas at DGPR Office on Tuesday, she said that it is ironic that Maryam Nawaz is protesting against the chief election commissioner who was appointed after consultation with her uncle and leader of the opposition Shehbaz Sharif. She said the Election Commission is also deliberating upon issues related to PML-N and Maryam Nawaz should better answer them.
Commenting on foreign funding case, Dr Firdous said that opposition is angry because they pointed out fingers at Imran Khan and in response to that the PTI presented the list of 40,000 donors who transferred funds in the account of PTI. She said that Mariyam should explain that the money his father received from Osama Bin Ladin to topple the Benazir government and derail the then democratic process was a local funding or a foreign funding? She said that their definition of democracy means their stay in power and their democracy is compromised when they have to spend time in opposition.
The SACM said the foundation of the filthy rich Sharif family palaces’ has been laid on the blood of the ordinary people sucked by it. She said that Maulana used to enjoy a lavish life at the expense of tax payers money adding that he is greedily watching the ongoing progress and development in the country and is in fact trying to snatch away his share of cake.
