Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Thursday said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) unnatural alliance – formed to protect corruption – is moving towards its logical end.
“PDM is an unnatural alliance, which has been formed to protect corruption. It is now heading towards its logical end”, the Punjab chief minister.
He held that the PDM alliance was made in haste and is also ending quickly. Those who looted the country in the past have been exposed before people, he said while adding that corruption has become a part of the past.
Sardar Usman Buzdar said the erstwhile rulers plundered money while Prime Minister Imran Khan unveiled big names involved in corruption. The 220 million people know that the country is being run by the most transparent government, the Punjab CM added.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that all necessary measures will be taken to deal with the second wave of Covid-19. He said that number of corona affectees has been on the rise with each passing day and a comprehensive cooperation of citizens is required like before for controlling the Coronavirus. Legal Action will be taken on the violation of SOPs, he added. He said corona situation is being monitored on daily basis. All out measures will be taken to safeguard the lives of the citizens, he asserted.
Usman Buzdar said that 390 confirm corona cases have been surfaced and 9 patients died during the last 24 hours. Death tool has been reached to 2438 in Punjab. 13545 tests have been conducted during the last 24 hours. Number of active corona patients have reached 8092. 1714383 tests have been conducted so far. 97672 out of 108221 patients have been recovered from coronavirus so far, he concluded.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives in a traffic accident near Pindi Bhattian. The CM extended heartfelt sympathies and condolence with the bereaved family members. Usman Buzdar directed to provide best treatment facilities to the injured and sought a report from the administration in this regard.
