Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) on Saturday released the statement, at the Islamabad Airport a passenger, Nadeem Akram, who had recently returned from Boston via Dubai, was reunited with his lost baggage, thanks to the diligent efforts of airport authorities. Upon arriving at the airport, Akram realized he had left his bag, containing USD $2000, Rs. 50,000, an iPhone-15 Pro Max, and other expensive accessories, in the Arrival belt area. Promptly reporting the incident, airport staff sprang into action, locating the bag and ensuring its safekeeping in the CAA Lost & Found section.
PCAA spokesperson further stated with swift coordination, the bag, valued at approximately Rs. 1.5 million, was retrieved and returned to its rightful owner by the Chief Operating Officer/Airport Manager on Saturday.
Akram expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the airport management for their honesty and dedicated efforts, enabling the successful recovery of his valuable belongings in a remarkably short time.
