LAHORE – The Directorate General of Immigrations and Passports has established its regional passport office across Pakistan for issuance of passports to Pakistani citizens.
It has offices in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit Baltisitan and worldwide.
The passport offices issue the travel documents to Pakistani citizens after verifying their documents and deposit of fee. It offers machine readable and e-passports to the applicants with different number of leaves.
The holder of a valid Pakistan passport, when in a foreign country, is entitled to the protection of diplomatic and consular representative of Pakistan in that country.
Passport is the only document that confirms the identity of the citizen abroad of the Republic of Pakistan, as well as, realizes his/her right to exit from the country and entry into the country.

Passport Office Timings in Lahore from July 2024
The passport office of Lahore-I (Garden Town) opens at 8:00 am to 1: 30 pm from Monday to Thursday while operation timings on Friday are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. It is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
The Lahore-II (Shadman) passport office offers services from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm from Monday to Thursday while it closes at 12:30 pm on Friday. It is closed on Sundays and Saturdays.
The Executive Passport Office operates from 9 am to 1 pm from Monday to Friday while it closes on Saturday and Sunday.
The passport office of Lahore (Shahdrah) opens 8 am to 12 pm from Monday to Friday.
