Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Friday said that parliament would complete its tenure and the next general elections would be held on its time.

In a video statement, the newly appointed minister also said that the people would choose their representatives through free and fair elections.
While talking about the duration of the parliament, she said that the parliament would complete its tenure as former Prime Minister Imran Khan was ousted through the constitution.
Talking about the high inflation rate across the country, Marriyum Aurangzeb said that the price hike had reached sixteen per cent due to the incompetence of the previous government.
However, she reiterated the incumbent government’s resolve to address the economic challenges of the country.
