Papa John’s, Subway, Butt Sweets among 24 sealed in Lahore

LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against violation of parking rules in Lahore.

On Monday, LDA teams sealed more than two dozen commercial buildings on Main Boulevard Johar Town, Abdul Haq Road, and Khayaban-e-Firdousi.

The sealed businesses include Rajhstani Restaurant, Papa Jones, Texas Chicken, Subway, Butt Sweets, Scope Academy, Nissa Sultan, Kodak Pixels, private banks and bakeries.

Joint teams of LDA and TEPA carried out operation with the help of local law enforcers and heavy machinery.

LDA officials said several notices were served to the owners of these buildings before carrying out the operation.

LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed continuing indiscriminate operations against encroachment, violation of building bylaws and illegal commercial use.
