KARACHI – Pakistan on Wednesday defeated New Zealand by 26 runs in the third ODI to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series.
After clinching first two games, Men in Green played exceptionally well in today’s game and it will be the first-ever victory in ODI format for Green Shirts against Black Caps in more than a decade.
After being invited to bat first, Pakistan posted 287 with courtesy of Imam ul Haqu and skipper Babar Azam. Imam missed a century however the left-hander batter along with skipper Babar Azam pushed Men in Green to not to easy target to achieve in the third ODI.

, Fakhar Zaman, who scored back-to-back tons in the first two games of the five-match series, returned pavilion early. Imam ul Haq further then build momentum alongside skipper Babar Azam.
The duo stitched a partnership of 108 runs, and Babar slammed his 26th half-ton but could not advance as he returned on 54. Abdullah Shafique was next in line for Team Green who scored 19 but returned on 23 as Cole McConchie struck, taking his first wicket in ODI format.
