Pakistan Observer learned that the notification doing rounds online is FAKE as the government has not announced Eid ul Fitr holidays yet.

People are requested to avoid sharing sham notifications in WhatsApp groups and on social sites.

Eidul Fitr is a significant festival in the Islamic calendar, celebrated at the end of the Holy month of Ramazan. Muslims all over the world observe a month of fasting, and Eid celebrations mark the end of this period of self-restraint.

This year, Eid is expected to fall on April 10, depending on the sighting of the moon.
