Pakistan achieves highest ever growth in IT exports

Pakistan has achieved the highest-ever exports of information technology and telecom services and products during the last seven months of the current fiscal year 2021-22, WealthPK reported on Wednesday.

The export proceeds surged to $1.487b at a growth rate of 32.65% in July-January period of 2021-22 compared to $1.121b during the same period of fiscal year 2020-21. According to the data released by the ministry of information technology and telecommunication, exports of telecommunication services were valued at $27 million in January 2022 compared to $24m in January 2021, registering a growth of 10.4%.
