DHAKA – Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali has bounced back strongly after his unsatisfactory performance in the T20 World Cup as he achieved a key milestone with his spectacular performance against Bangladesh in ongoing Test series.
The right-arm bowler bagged a five-wicket haul by removing Bangladesh’s lower-order batting line on Saturday, restricting them to 330 runs in the first innings at Chittagong.
With his sixth five-wicket haul in Test matches in a calendar year, Hasan made it to the list of Pakistan’s greatest fast bowlers in history.

After taking five wickets, Hasan Ali has joined Imran Khan and Waqar Younis in the elite list.
Former Pakistan fast bowler Waqar Younis leads the record for Pakistani fast bowlers, as he took six five-fers in 1993. Former captain Imran Khan claimed his 5 five-fers in 1982.
