RAWALPINDI – A major and a havaldar of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom in during sanitization operation in Harnai district of Balochistan, the military’s media wing said Thursday.
A statement issued by ISPR said on the reported presence of terrorists, planning to target innocent civilians in Harnai District, security forces under Major Muhammad Haseeb were immediately mobilized to sanitize the area.
Security forces effectively engaged the militant’s location and killed three terrorists at the site. During the operation, an improvised explosive device exploded on the leading vehicle of security forces, resultantly, Major Muhammad Haseeb – who was leading his troops from the front – along with Havaldar Noor Ahmed embraced martyrdom.

ISPR said the troops were martyred after fighting gallantly and made the ultimate sacrifice for the soil.
