Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Hashim Dogar has said that over-population and sick population are the two major issues of Pakistan and if we still hesitate to discuss this issue then Punjab’s population which stands on 11 core would be doubled after 25 years.
He was gracing a seminar, as a chief guest, organized to create awareness regarding population control and utilization of contraceptive measures, by Punjab Population Innovation Fund, here in University of Health Sciences today.
A great number of doctors and students attended the seminar. CEO PPIF, Mr. Jawad Ahmad Qureshi was also present there.—INP
