Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday urged Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) to refrain from negative politics after hosting a flop show at Minar-i-Pakistan.
“People gave their verdict against the opposition’s corrupt leadership in the Lahore rally and PDM’s politics of resignation will also fail badly.” The chief minister said that opposition has fallen back on negative tactics after seeing its failure at all fronts.
“There will only be progress in Pakistan from now onwards. The opposition must wait until 2023 as its plan will be foiled. Every conspiracy against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) mandate will be made unsuccessful with the help of public”, he declared.
The CM said that the masses have complete trust in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership and the opposition neither has the courage to tender resignations nor to hold long march.
Meanwhile, Usman Buzdar and Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani visited the residence of former Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zaheri in Karachi on Tuesday. They extended condolence to Sanaullah Zaheri over the death of his daughter and offered Fateha for the departed soul. “I am deeply saddened over the sad demise of your daughter and pray to Almighty Allah to grant courage to you to bear this loss with fortitude,” added the CM.
Both Buzdar and Sanjrani also visited the residence of Mir Umer Khan Jamali in Dera Murad Jamali area of Balochistan province and extended their condolence over the death of former prime minister Mir Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali. They offered Fateha for the departed soul and paid rich tribute to socio-political services of the former prime minister. The CM said the late Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali was an upright personality and a worth following example in the field of politics.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said the nation will always remember the immortal sacrifice of teachers and students of Army Public School Peshawar on December 16.
In his message, the CM said the students wrote the history of a peaceful Pakistan with their precious blood. The martyrs’ great sacrifices resulted in uniting the nation against the spate of terrorism and gave new courage to them. This resulted in a mortal defeat to the wicked enemy and Pakistan emerged as a citadel of peace, he added. The martyred children and their teachers are the heroes of the nation and Pakistan salute their families. The blood of martyrs is a debt to our soil, he held. There is no room for terrorism and fanaticism and the PTI government will achieve the target of a tolerant society. The nation should also remember the commitment for which the innocent children lost their lives, concluded the CM.
