Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that like its earlier protest move, the opposition’s protest plan will end in smoke this time also. Instead of resorting to any protest, the opposition must show patience till year 2023 as those creating chaos will be frustrated through public power. Country’s getting on the path to progress and prosperity is not being absorbed by the opposition and it will flop on every front.
Despite enemies’ conspiracies, no one can stop Pakistan to advance further. He was speaking at the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) signing ceremony between Pakistan Boxing Federation and Pakistan Professional League and later talking to media men at a local hotel on Saturday. Pakistan Boxing Federation President Muhammad Jahagir, Wrestling Federation President Chaudhry Amin, Secretary Arshad Sattar, Tennis Federation’s Ahmar Malik, Ada Jafri, wrestler Inam Butt, Punjab Olympics Association’s Secretary Idrees Haider Khawaja, Dr. Asad Abbas, Waqar Ali and a large number of boxers attended the ceremony.
Punjab Governor said that opposition has agenda of watching personal interests only. The opposition earlier had also launched an anti-government move that ended in smoke and if it still has the guts to do the same again then it must go ahead but it will again face sheer disappointment.
He said that people are standing beside Prime Minister Imran Khan and his government. PTI government is the one serving the country and the nation with all sincerity and country will In Sha Allah be pulled out of all crises. Pakistan is now stabilizing economically due to viable and well-conceived policies of the present government, while country’s getting on the path to progress and prosperity is not being absorbed by the opposition that is why it is talking of protest movement. People have mandated us to hold government for five years and the PTI government will complete its constitutional term of five years.
Earlier, addressing the MoU signing ceremony, Chaudhry Sarwar said that after international cricket, the holding of boxing league in Pakistan is a good omen. The government is bring forth all possible resources for promotion of sports activities in the country and Pakistan has no doubt become a peaceful country while Britain and other countries have also acknowledged this fact.
Foreign investors are now coming speedily to Pakistan because of effective economic policies of the government that will ensure complete protection to the lives and properties of foreign investors at any cost.
