LAHORE: A farewell ceremony on the eve of the transfer of Commissioner Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari and charge assumption of new Commissioner Passand Khan Buledi was held here on Wednesday at OPC Office.
Rich tributes were paid to the outgoing commissioner by the OPC Vice-Chairperson Waseem Akhtar for his tremendous services for the betterment of the commission and the contribution for the resolution of the problems of Pakistani expatriates. He said that Passand Khan Buledi, a grade 20 officer was also among the competent officers from Balochistan and will also follow the footprints of his predecessor. ‘Our mission is to resolve the issues of overseas Pakistanis and we are making all-out efforts to achieve this target’, he said.
Syed Javed Iqbal Bokhari thanked all the officers of OPC for cooperating with him. New Commissioner Passand Khan Buledi also showed determination to work for the betterment of Pakistani expatriates. The ceremony was attended by director administration, director legal, director revenue and other senior officers of OPC.
