The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, has said that only the condemnation statements for the last 75 years and rallies regarding the Kashmir dispute are not sufficient and they have not harmed India at all.
He expressed these views while addressing the All Parties Kashmir Conference hosted by advisor to the prime minister on Kashmir affair, Qamar-ul-Zaman Kaira in Islamabad. Leaders of political parties and Hurriyat leaders were also present on the occasion.
Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan said a Kashmir Desk should be set up in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consisting of persons at the level of Minister of State so that Kashmir dispute can be highlighted at every forum.
The AJK Prime Minister said India is going to turn the Muslim majority territory into a minority by issuing domiciles to 1.2 million non-state actors in Kashmir. Narendra Modi is a symbol of extremism and his hands are stained with the blood of Gujarat Muslims, he added.
He said that the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, went to Jammu and talked about an investment of Rs 20,000 crore which the Kashmiris rejected. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan Kashmiris have made unprecedented sacrifices for their freedom from Indian subjugation. Mothers of Kashmir even today naming their children after the name of Syed Ali Gilani, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Yasin Malik and Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
He lamented that India repealed Kashmir’s special status and has turned it into a prison, where 900,000 brutal army personnel have been posted where there is no veil and no sanctity of women.
