No-trust motion: BAP issues notices to lawmakers

Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) on Monday has issued the notices to dissident lawmakers who signed the no-trust motion against the Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo.

According to the party spokesperson, a meeting was held on May 22 under the chairmanship of BAP parliamentary leader Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo in which 16 elected members of the party assembly participated, expressed full confidence on Abdul Quddus Bizenjo as Balochistan CM.

The party members who signed the no-confidence motion documents were issued notices, including former chief minister Jam Kamal Khan, Nawabzadi Tariq Magsi, Zahoor Ahmed Baledi, Saleem Ahmed Khosa and Arif Jan Mohammad Hassani, Sardar Sarfraz Domki, Metha Khan Kakar.

The notices also directed the members to withdraw the no-confidence motion filed on May 18, otherwise action would be taken under Article 63A of the Constitution. On the other hand, notices have also been sent to the Election Commission of Pakistan.
