LAHORE – School timings have been changed in Lahore, and Punjab cities ahead of winter season, with classes starting from 8:45 am in morning.
A notification shared by School Education Department confirmed revised school timings for winter season. Schools will now open at 8:45 am and close at 2:45pm on weekdays. On Fridays, classes will end at 12:45pm.

For double-shift schools, the first shift will end daily at 12:45 PM, with an earlier end of classes at 12pm on Fridays. The second shift will run from 1 PM to 5 PM, extending to 2 PM to 5 PM on Fridays.
The notification also specified that teachers are required to arrive at school by 8:30am and will conclude their day at 3 PM.
These changes aim to facilitate a smoother educational experience for students and staff during the winter months.
