LAHORE – The National Command and Operation Centre has announced to suspend vaccination against Covid-19 to children aged between 12 to 15 years.
The drive will remain suspended till 27th of this month, as per the decision taken by the top monitoring body in a meeting due to ongoing vaccination campaign against Measles and Rubella virus.
Meanwhile, seven people died of Coronavirus infection and 319 positive cases have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours, said NCOC on Saturday.
39,200 tests were conducted yesterday and positivity ratio remained zero point eight one percent.
Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have collectively recorded 24 coronavirus cases during the last 24 hours.
Punjab has reported 85 coronavirus cases and four deaths during the same period. The tally in Punjab has risen to 442,353 and the death toll is 12,994.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recorded 52 coronavirus cases and two deaths during the last 24 hours. The total number of cases is 179,473 and the death toll is 5,814.
Meanwhile, Balochistan reported seven cases during this period. The provincial total has risen to 33,432 and the death toll remains 358.
