Pakistan’s education system has the capacity to achieve the desired goals for our youth provided all the three parties, namely students, parents and their teachers have a single minded approach to attain them.
These views were expressed by Chairperson of Taleem Network former Senator RazinaAlam Khan at a national debate ‘Can our Education System create virtues of good citizens in our students?’ organized jointly by the Nazriya Pakistan Council (NPC), Private Schools Network and Pakistan Education Foundation at the Aiwan-e-Quaid, Fatima Jinnah Park.
She was presiding over the debate and commended the organizers for hosting discussion on an important subject that was directly related with the future of Pakistan.
Eminent experts on the subject, intellectuals, scholars and analysts participated in the discussion and gave their opinion frankly. Senator RazinaAlam Khan said she had always had great expectations from the Pakistani youth and never doubted their talent.
It is the youth that will take forward the ship of the country’s destiny off troubled waters, she said.
Chief Guest on the occasion, Chairman of the National Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Authority, KhurshidAkhtarNadeem agreed with Senator RazinaAlam that Pakistan’s youth was immensely talented, however, he regretted the teachers and parents could not train them to face the challenges of the modern world and achieve that greatness they were destined for.
Only by playing our role in educating, training and preparing our youth for their role, shall we be able to truly delegate our duties truly, he said.
