Minister of Energy Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has voiced his concerns, emphasizing the challenges faced by citizens due to high electricity costs and limited access to electricity in certain areas. Expressing empathy for the public’s economic burden, particularly regarding electricity bills, Shah underscored the importance of supporting citizens who choose to power their homes with solar panels.

He urged the Prime Minister to refrain from imposing taxes on solar panels and instead advocated for government initiatives to provide relief and incentives for their purchase.

Nasir Shah reiterated the Sindh government’s commitment to addressing the electricity crisis by promoting the establishment of solar parks and facilitating the generation of affordable electricity in the province.

He called upon the federal government to not only reduce electricity prices but also to offer solar panel packages, especially during the scorching summer months.

Minister Nasir Shah emphasized the need for collaborative efforts between the federal and provincial governments to enhance access to clean and affordable energy solutions, thereby alleviating the burden on consumers and advancing sustainable development goals.
