In response to a surge in misinformation circulating on social media platforms, the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) on Monday issued a comprehensive clarification, vehemently denying any alteration in its policy regarding the issuance of “Form B” to the general public.
Contrary to recent claims suggesting the imposition of a deadline for obtaining “Form B,” NADRA maintained that no such timeframe had been established.
The organization said that the dissemination of inaccurate information had been orchestrated by certain elements, urging the public to exercise caution and rely on verified sources for news.
In a press release, NADRA emphasised that statements circulating on the internet were not only unfounded but also misleading to citizens.
However, authority also asserted that there had been no modifications to the existing policy governing the issuance of “Form B,” nor were there any plans to introduce changes in the foreseeable future.
