LAHORE – Pakistani citizens who are going abroad, including European countries, are required to obtain National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) issued by the National Database Registration Authority.
A number of Pakistanis travel to the European country of Finland for study or job every year. Before travelling to the foreign country, they should visit the Nadra office to get the NICOP.
Furthermore, Pakistani citizens living abroad can also apply for it online. The holder of the NICOP can travel to Pakistan without requiring a visa in case of dual nationality. A passport number is a mandatory pre-requisite while applyinbg for NICOP.

An applicant can apply for your NICOP for Finland by either visiting NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through Pak-Identity website.
Steps to Apply for NICIOP at NADRA Registration Center (NRC)
You can apply for NICOP by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
Following are the steps which you will be following at the NRC:
You will be issued a token
Your photograph will be captured
Your fingerprints and signature will be taken
Your required data entry will be done and form will be printed to be reviewed by yourself
You will be handed over a printed version of your application form.
How to Apply Through Pak Identity Website
You can submit an application for your Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) through Pak Identity website and have it delivered to your doorstep.
New NICOP Fee for Finland in Rupees
Nadra has two different fee structure for NICOP as it has divided the world countries in two zones – A and B. As Finland falls in Zone A, the normal fee for new NICOP stands at Rs11,340, urgent fee Rs16,589 and executive fee at Rs21,820.
NICOP Fee for Finland in Dollars from November 2024
The fee for NICOP for applying online is charged in dollars. The normal fee for NICOP for Finland stands at $39 while urgent fee is $57 and executive fee is $75.
