LAHORE – Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is issued to the citizens of Pakistan by the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra).
It is a blend of state-of-the-art technology and well-defined business rules to guarantee its authenticity and validity. Every citizen of Pakistan, 18 years and above, is eligible for CNIC.
The ID card carries details including applicant’s name, father/spouse name, address, ID card number, signature, photo, date of birth, martital status, gender, religion. All the details are provided to the Nadra staff by the applicant.
Modification means getting the details changed on your identity document. This could be your name, change of name spelling, change of address, or something else.
Nadra CNIC Modification Fee in Pakistan
The authority charges certain fee for modifying the details on the CNIC after verification. It offers three categories for processing the applications regarding the modification.
In normal category, it receives Rs750 in fee while Rs1,500 and Rs2,500 are charged for urgent and executive categories respectively.
Fee for Changing Date of Birth Change on ID Card
Nadra receives Rs750 in fee for normal category for changing date of birth on ID card while Rs1,500 and Rs2,500 are charged for urgent and executive categories respectively.
