National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore claimed on Tuesday to have recovered over Rs. 24.9 million from Ali Imran Yousuf, the son-in-law of the Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif.
As per the statement of NAB Lahore, Ali Imran owned shares in five companies and assets in two plazas. The accountability court rejected Ali Imran Yousuf’s plea to stop the NAB from recovering, NAB Lahore said.
Ikram Naveed also found evidence of transfer of more than Rs130 million in Ali Imran Yousuf’s account, according to the documents.
NAB Lahore has filed a supplementary reference of Rs230 million against Ali Imran Yousuf in court.
