Faisal Malik lauds Jamia Binoria’s educational, welfare contributions
The Chairman and Editor-In-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Faisal Zahid Malik visited Jamia Binoria Alamia, where he met with the university’s head, Dr. Mufti Noman Naeem. During his visit, Faisal Malik toured various academic and administrative departments, as well as the media section. Also present were Binoria Media Director Salman Rabbani, Media Coordinator Muhammad Nazir Nasir, and other officials.
Faisal Malik praised the late Sheikh-ul-Hadith Mufti Muhammad Naeem, founder of Jamia Binoria, for his contributions, highlighting the university’s educational, welfare, and social services. “Jamia Binoria has played a pivotal role in dispelling misconceptions about madrassas through media,” Faisal Malik remarked.
“It is encouraging to see over 5,000 students from 74 countries studying here, representing Pakistan globally.” Dr. Mufti Noman Naeem expressed gratitude for Malik’s visit, emphasizing the media’s vital role in societal growth and welfare. He stressed the need to counterbalance misinformation and propaganda, especially with the rise of social media.
“We must guide the younger generation properly so they can avoid misinformation, and cooperation in the media sector is essential for societal progress,” he said. Dr. Naeem also acknowledged Pakistan Observer’s commitment to truth, noting the publication’s valuable contributions under Faisal Malik’s leadership. He expressed happiness at seeing Malik continue his father late Zahid Malik’s mission.
