A mother of two was allegedly gang-raped by two assailants in Dera Ghazi Khan on Friday and the police have lodged FIR of the incident.
The incident took place in Lashari Basti, a suburban area of Taunsa Sharif, where a mother of two was reportedly gang-raped by two unidentified suspects.
The victim was shifted Taunsa Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for her medico-legal formalities and the police have launched hunt for the culprits.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has taken notice of the incident and sought a detailed report from the DG Khan Regional Police Officer. Buzdar assured the victim and the family of justice and stern punishment for the culprits.
In a separate case occurred in Gujranwala, a 12-year-old girl was subjected to sexual assault, which her medical examination report confirmed on Friday.
According to local police, the report confirmed that the minor girl was sexually abused by a man, identified as 22-year-old Waqas alias Gul Sher, who has been arrested.
A police official said the minor victim also identified the molester in front of the policemen at the hospital where she is undergoing treatment. He said the accused was taken to the hospital for identification and will soon be presented before the relevant court.
It is to be noted that three days ago, a woman was gangraped in on Lahore-Sialkot Motorway link road in Gujjarpura area of Lahore. The assailants, finding her vulnerable, broke the windowpane of her car and took her to nearby fields in front of her children.
She was gang-raped and later deprived of her valuables by the assailants who fled the scene instantly. The woman whose identity is kept secret by the police had run out of fuel in the Gujjarpura area of Lahore.
